Description

Castlehythe consists of a range of early 19th-century gault brick houses. The building has two storeys and a six-window front. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bays, set in plain reveals and topped with stuccoed flat arches. The doorways have small rectangular fanlights, plain reveals, stucco flat arches, and are accessed by steps with iron railings. The roofs are slate covered. Nos. 3 to 17 (odd), and No. 21 form a group of mid-19th century gault brick houses set back from the road.
