Description

No 3 Castlehythe is a mid 19th century house built of gault brick. It has two storeys and features a three-window range with double-hung sash windows that have single vertical glazing bars. The first-storey windows have painted reveals, while the ground-storey windows are adorned with stucco architraves. A central doorway is framed by a stucco doorcase with pilasters and a cornice. The roof is tiled, with tiles added in the 20th century. Nos 3 to 17 (odd) and No 21 create a charming group of mid 19th century gault brick houses set back from the road.
