Description

No 2 West End is an early to mid 19th century brick house built with Haddenham bricks. The building has two storeys and features a two-window range with double-hung sash windows that include glazing bars, all set in flush cased frames. A central doorcase is adorned with pilasters and an end cornice. The roof is covered with slate. This house is part of a group that includes Nos 52A, 52, and Quayside House, as well as Nos 33 to 41 (consecutive), Nos 43 to 47 (odd), Nos 51 to 53 (consecutive), the Malthouse adjoining No 53, Nos 55, the Wharf, and Nos 54 to 64 (even) Quayside.
