Description

47 Waterside is a mid-19th century brick house. It is two storeys high and originally had a three-window front; the central window on the first floor is now blocked. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, set within flush cased frames. The central doorway has a stucco doorcase featuring pilasters and a cornice. The roof is slate.

The building forms part of a group of properties including numbers 33 and 35 to 41, 43 to 47, 51 to 53, the malthouse adjoining number 53, number 55, the house adjoining number 55 and Quayside House, and numbers 54 to 64 on the opposite side of the quay.
