Description

Beehive Cottage is a 16th-century cottage with a timber frame that is plastered and features a thatched roof with a red brick ridge stack. The building has one storey and attics, with later inserted floors in two rooms on either side of the brick hearth. To the right, there is a service room that retains its original loft floor. The cottage has two gabled casement dormer windows with small panes, three similar casement windows on the ground floor, and one modern bay window. A glazed door is set within a modern porch. The roof is constructed from elm poles, complete with collars and a ridge piece.
