Description

Lane House is a late 16th-century cottage located in Burrough Green. It is timber-framed and plastered, with a thatched roof featuring a red brick ridge stack. The cottage has a three-unit plan, with one storey and an attic. It features three gabled dormer windows with casements, three ground-floor casement windows, and two doors. A single-storey extension to the right hand side is rendered and has a thatched roof, incorporating three casement windows. Inside, the cottage has an inglenook hearth and exposed floor framing.
