Description

The School House is a school building dating from around 1714. It is constructed of clunch and limestone, featuring red brick gables and end stacks, topped with a plain tile roof. The building is one storey high with an attic and has a symmetrical facade. It includes a red brick plinth and rusticated quoins. The entrance is marked by a moulded flat arched doorway, which has a key block and cornice, leading to a half glazed door. On either side of the doorway are two recessed twelve-paned hung sash windows, each with moulded architraves and key blocks. Additionally, there are two hipped casement dormer windows in the roof.
