Description
2 Fore Hill is an 18th-century brick house that stands two storeys high with attics. It features a seven-window range of double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, all set within moulded stucco architraves. The east end of the building has a large 19th-century window, also with stucco architraves and a cornice. The ground floor includes 20th-century shop fronts. At the rear, there is a wing that extends to the southwest. The roof is slate on the front, which is steeply pitched, and tiled at the rear. This property, along with No 1, forms a group with No 29 Market Place.
