It has two storeys and a basement, featuring a three-window range with double-hung sashes that have thin glazing bars set in plastered reveals. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door topped with a rectangular fanlight and ornamental glazing, framed by a wooden doorcase with panelled reveals, a frieze decorated with roundels, and a cornice with modillions. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. Vineyard Lodge is part of a group that includes No 15 (Archer House) and Nos 17 and 19.
