Description

The White Hart Hotel is a late 18th century or early 19th century building that incorporates parts of a 15th to 16th century timber framed structure. The main block, which faces south, is built of painted brick and stands three storeys tall. It features a five-window range with double-hung sashes that have vertical glazing bars, set in cased frames with stucco architraves and segmental heads. The ground floor windows are three-light, although one is blocked. There is a carriageway on the west end that reveals exposed timber framing, and above it is a three-light oriel bay window. The interior has been significantly altered but may still contain a medieval core within the structure.
