Description
The Royal Standard Public House is a late 18th century or early 19th century brick house that has been painted. It stands two storeys high with attics. The first storey features a two-window range, while the ground storey has a three-window range. Both storeys have double-hung sash windows with glazing bars; the first storey windows are set in flush eased frames, while the ground storey windows have plain reveals. The ground storey is from the 20th century. The roof is tiled and includes one flat-headed dormer. This building is included for its group value with Nos 20 to 28 (even) and No 28A, as well as Nos 9, 11, and Nos 15 to 25 (odd).
