DOWNING COLLEGE 1. 942 Gate lodge and gates to Regent Street TL 4558 SW 7/258 26.4.50. II 2. With No 36, Regent Street. 1834, extensively altered in 1966. Grey gault brick. 2 storeys, 2 windows, sashes with glazing bars except one modern window. Central doorway with fanlight. Parapet with plat band, hipped slate roof. Plain wrought-iron gates surmounted by lamps and the College arms. (RCHM.)
