Description
Furness Lodge is a mid-19th century Greek Revival house located on Park Terrace. The building has two storeys and is constructed of gault brick, topped with a hipped slate roof featuring wooden eaves cornices supported by brackets. The front of the house is symmetrically designed with five windows, the central one adorned with plaster pilaster strips, console brackets, and a plain cornice, while the side windows have flat brick arches. The entrance porch is accentuated by Ionic pilasters and an entablature. Furness Lodge is not part of the unified layout of Park Terrace, but it is included in a group with all the other listed buildings in the area.
