Description
The Library at Emmanuel College was built in 1909 by Leonard Stokes. It features alternating vertical bays of brick and stone, with a stone cornice and a shaped parapet. The building has a hipped tiled roof topped with a central cupola and is two storeys tall. The first floor showcases large stone mullion and transom windows with a "flat" detail, while the ground floor has smaller windows designed in Stokes's "flat" Perpendicular style. The building also includes good carved stone details. An additional third bay was added in 1930.
