Description

Woolmarket Cottage is a Grade II listed building located on the west side of High Road in Horndon-on-the-Hill. The cottage features a front range from the 19th century, with a rear wing that dates back to the 16th century or earlier. It is constructed with a timber frame, which is plastered and weatherboarded, and has a red plain tile roof. The building is two storeys high, with a modern two-window range of casement windows at the ground floor and 19th-century sash windows at the first floor. There is a modern chimney situated at the north end of the building.
