Description

The Old House is a building from the 16th century and later, located on the west side of South Hill in Horndon-on-the-Hill. It features a timber-framed and plastered structure with some brick elements, topped by a red plain tile roof that has both hipped and gabled sections. The building has two storeys, cellars, and attics. It includes 18th and 19th century double hung vertical sliding sash windows with glazing bars, and has moulded and dentilled eaves. There are 17th century red brick chimney stacks and a hipped dormer on the south side.
