Description

Butchers is an early 19th century house located on the east side of High Road in Horndon-on-the-Hill. The building is constructed from brick and timber framing with a rendered finish and stands two storeys tall. It features a modern tiled roof. The front has a three-window arrangement, which includes 19th century casement windows, two 19th century double-hung sash windows, and one modern double-hung sash window. There is a shop at the north end of the building, which is part of a lean-to extension.
