Description

The Swan Inn is an early 19th-century building located on High Road in Horndon-on-the-Hill. It is timber-framed and plastered, with some sections featuring painted brick. The inn has two storeys and is topped with grey slate roofs. The front facade includes two sets of three-window ranges with double-hung vertical sliding sashes that have glazing bars. The windows in the center range have segmental heads. There is a carriage arch at the north end of the building. The ground floor has modern casements, and there are modern extensions at the rear.
