Description

  1. 5141 ORTON LONGUEVILLE OUNDLE ROAD The Grange (East Grange and West Grange) TL 1696 54/432 14.11.74 II 2. The original house, the east range, is early C18, L-shaped on plan. Coursed stone rubble with steeply pitched Collyweston stone roof with stone coping to gable ends. The south-east wing might be a slightly later addition and the north wing was added later in C18. Two storeys and 2 storeys and attic. C18, C19 and modern casements some with leaded panes. Gabled dormers. To west of the house a C19 parallel range added partly in stone to match and extended in yellow brick at north end, all with Collyweston stone roofs with stone coping to gable ends.
