Description
The Grange, comprising East Grange and West Grange, is an early 18th-century L-shaped house located on Oundle Road in Orton Longueville. The original east range is constructed from coursed stone rubble and features a steeply pitched Collyweston stone roof with stone coping at the gable ends. The south-east wing may be a slightly later addition, while the north wing was added later in the 18th century. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a mix of 18th-century, 19th-century, and modern casements, some of which have leaded panes, as well as gabled dormers. To the west of the house, there is a 19th-century parallel range that is partly built in stone to match the original structure and extended in yellow brick at the north end, all topped with Collyweston stone roofs and stone coping at the gable ends.
