Description

Tygwyn is a late 18th century to early 19th century house located on the north side of High Street in Maxey. It is constructed of coursed stone rubble and features a Collyweston stone roof with gabled ends. The building has two storeys and a three-window range, with four-light casements that include glazing bars, and a three-light casement in the center of the first floor. Large painted stone lintels with keyblocks adorn the windows. The central doorway is flanked by modern pilasters and has a modern door. At one end, there is a brick chimney stack.
