Description

St Botolph's is an early 18th-century house located on Oundle Road in Orton Longueville. The building is constructed of coursed stone and features a steeply pitched Collyweston stone roof with gabled ends and stone coping. It has a modillion eaves cornice and stands two storeys tall with five bays. The windows are sashes with glazing bars and wooden lintels, and there is a central panelled door with a rectangular fanlight above it. A string course runs above the ground floor window heads, and there are brick chimney stacks at both ends.

At the rear, there is a modillion gabled brick wing, which is likely a later addition from the 18th century, set back slightly from the main structure. This wing is also made of coursed stone and has a lower pitched Collyweston stone roof with a coped gable end and modillion eaves cornice. It is two storeys high and has a three-window range with smaller sashes, a central glazed door, and French windows on the right side, along with brick end stacks. The main part of the house is said to contain an open fireplace.
