Description

  1. 5141 UFFORD MAIN STREET (west side) Barn, stables, dovecot and adjoining walls, south- south-west of The Old Rectory TF 00 SE 9/632 II GV 2. Late C18/early C19 symmetrically planned barn, stable and dovecot, with walls enclosing a yard. Coursed stone with Collyweston stone hipped roofs. The small barn on the south side has central porch with lunette in gable and cart entrance below. Opposite, at north-east and north-west corners of yard are 2 small square blocks, one a stable with hay loft above, the other a dovecot with brick nesting boxes with stone ledges inside. The low enclosing wall is also coursed stone, and has an opening on the east side.
