Description

This building complex, located south-south-west of The Old Rectory, consists of a barn, stables, dovecot, and adjoining walls, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The structures are symmetrically planned and feature coursed stone walls topped with Collyweston stone hipped roofs. The small barn on the south side includes a central porch with a lunette in the gable and a cart entrance below. At the north-east and north-west corners of the yard, there are two small square blocks: one serves as a stable with a hay loft above, while the other is a dovecot that contains brick nesting boxes with stone ledges inside. The low enclosing wall surrounding the yard is also made of coursed stone and has an opening on the east side.
