Description

Two barns located to the south-east of The Roost, originally listed as Barns at Newport Farm, date from the 18th century. They are constructed of coursed stone and feature steeply pitched Collyweston stone roofs with gabled ends. Each barn has five bays, with central cart entrances on both sides, which are flanked by ventilation lunettes that have keyblocks and diaper pattern stone infill. There are also loft doors in the end walls.
