Description

The dovecot located south-south-east of The Roost, formerly known as Dovehouse at Newport Farm, dates back to 1727, as indicated by the datestone "TG 1727" in the gable. It is constructed from coursed stone rubble and has a rectangular shape. The roof is steeply pitched, gable-ended, and covered with corrugated asbestos. Additionally, double doors have been inserted on the south side.
