Description

Hill Crest is a stone cottage dated 1841, located on the east side of Main Street in Ufford. The building features coursed stone construction and a Welsh slate roof with gabled ends. It is two storeys high and has three bays with a two-window range. The windows are small sashes without glazing bars and have flat stone arches above them. The central entrance has a panelled door with a rectangular fanlight above it. There is a tablet above the door with a cornice that reads "W over B M 1841". The cottage also has stone end stacks. Hill Crest is included for its group value with nearby structures.
