Description

The garden wall located to the south-west of The Old Rectory is likely from the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed stone rubble and stands approximately 7 feet 6 inches high. The wall features plain stone coping and squat buttresses on the outside of both the north and south sides. This structure encloses three sides of a large rectangle, which is probably the site of a former kitchen garden.
