Description
This building is a Cotswold barn and dovecote, likely from the 18th century, located about 32 meters northwest of the Old Rectory. It is constructed of rubble with a Cotswold stone roof, which is artificial on the rear slopes. The main structure consists of approximately five bays, featuring a central projecting gable that is taller than the connecting midstrey, with a lean-to on the right side. There are additional stable buildings at each end of the barn. The prominent central gable includes a dovecote above the draught entry doors, while the south gable has been rebuilt, removing the pigeon entries. There is a window or entry at the rear. The interior is reported to be lined with nesting boxes, although it has not been inspected.
