Description
This building is a dovecote and barn located approximately 25 meters east of The Old Rectory, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of ironstone ashlar with a plain-tile roof. The main front faces west and features a pair of 2-panel doors on the left, which have overlights and stone lintels with keyblocks. To the right, there is a coach door with an arched head and keyblocks. The first floor has plank doors, except for a small 2-light window on the right, all of which are topped with stone lintels and keyblocks. The structure includes a moulded stone eaves cornice, a central timber cupola, and stone-coped gables with kneelers.
