12/169 Jacob's Well, between nos 46 and 47

GV II

Well head. Late C19. Circular stone surround approximately half a metre high. Set into rear is timber structure for drawing water. Consists of post topped by finial, from which projects an arched timber holding a metal pulley wheel, the arched timber supported by a double-curved brace.
