Description

Jacob's Well is located between numbers 46 and 47 on Old Warden High Street. This well head dates from the late 19th century and features a circular stone surround that is approximately half a metre high. At the back, there is a timber structure designed for drawing water. This structure includes a post topped by a finial, from which an arched timber extends, holding a metal pulley wheel. The arched timber is supported by a double-curved brace.
