Shuttleworth Estate cottage, formerly an entrance lodge to Old Warden Park. Early C19. Cottage ornee style. Colourwashed roughcast render over brick. Thatched roof. Single storeyed building. Narrow rectangular block with canted projection to S and rectangular projection to N, which has canted projecting bay to its centre. Projecting eaves to both N and S, supported by wooden posts. Most windows are rounded-arched casements containing paired pointed arched lights. W and E elevations have bull's eye windows with radiating leading. S door, in central projection, has diamond panelling. N door now hidden behind C20 glazed porch. Rendered triple. ridge stack to centre, flues linked by cornice moulding.
