Description

38 and 39 High Street are a pair of cottages from the early 19th century, likely a renovation of an earlier structure. They are constructed with timber framing and covered in colourwashed roughcast, topped with a thatched roof. The cottages have a four-room layout and are single-storey. There are four two-light casement windows with glazing bars and two 20th-century glazed doors. A red brick stack is located at the central ridge, and there are later additions on the rear elevation.
