Description

No. 32 High Street is a cottage from the early 19th century, likely a renovation of an earlier structure, located within the Shuttleworth Estate. It features timber-framed construction with a colourwashed roughcast render on the exterior and a thatched roof. The cottage has a three-room layout, with one storey and attics. On the ground floor, there are two 2-light leaded casement windows, while the attic has three eyebrow dormers, each with 2-light leaded casements. The entrance is marked by a central plank door. Additionally, there are integral red brick octagonal stacks with moulded cornices on both gable ends. This listing also includes the former No. 33.
