Description

No. 28 High Street is a cottage from the early 19th century, likely a modification of an earlier structure. It features timber framed construction with a colourwashed roughcast render on the exterior and a thatched roof. The building has a three-room layout and is one storey with attics. On the ground floor, there are two 2-light leaded casement windows, while the attic includes three eyebrow dormers, each with 2-light leaded casements. The central entrance is a plank door. There are integral red brick octagonal chimneys with moulded cornices on both gable ends. This listing also includes the former No. 29.
