Description

Hairizon is a house that has been converted for commercial use, dating from the 18th century and possibly reworking an earlier structure. The front elevation is made of red brick laid in header bond, and it features a 20th-century tile roof. The building has a three-window facade and stands two storeys tall. On the ground floor, there are two tripartite sash windows with glazing bars. The first floor has a central sash window flanked by two broader sash windows, all three of which also have glazing bars. The central doorway consists of a six-panel door topped with a rectangular fanlight, all set within a moulded pilastered surround. The chimney stacks have been removed. This building is included for its group value.
