Description

Pear Tree Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse with a T-plan layout. It features colour washed rough cast over a timber frame, with a colour washed brick west gable and a rear extension. The roof is made of old clay tiles. The building has red brick gable end stacks, with the west stack being exterior and the east stack integral. It stands two storeys high and has a symmetrical facade. The central front door, which is accessed by three steps, is a six-panel door with the top pair being glazed. There are two ground floor windows and five first floor windows, all of which are two-light horizontal sashes with glazing bars.
