Description

This cottage, located north of the Parish Church of St Nicholas, dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century and features later window designs. It is constructed with colour washed pebbledash on a timber frame and has a pantiled roof. The building is L-shaped, comprising one storey and attics. A central red brick ridge stack, which is set diagonally at the upper part, is a notable feature. The front door is situated on the north elevation, while the road-facing elevation includes two Venetian windows. The south gable end features an early bow window on the ground floor and a two-light horizontal sash window in the attic. Additionally, there is a one-storey wing to the east with a weatherboarded gable end.
