Description

Old Farm Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century. It features colour washed rough cast over a timber frame and has a half-hipped thatched roof. The building is in an L-plan shape, with two storeys on the east wing and two storeys plus attics on the north. The east block has one two-light horizontal sash window with glazing bars on each floor, along with various casement windows, some of which are from the 20th century. There is a red brick double ridge stack on the east wing and a 20th-century glazed door on the north wing. The east gable end has colour washed brick and rough cast lower additions, and there is a 20th-century colour washed and tiled extension to the northwest.
