Description

This is an 18th-century cottage located in Staploe, near Duloe. The building is timber-framed, with the two right-hand bays rendered in colour-washed rough cast, and the left-hand bay clad in weatherboards. It has a thatched roof and a three-room plan with attic space. The ground floor features three two-light casement windows. Two dormers are present on the right-hand side, each with a two-light horizontal sash window. An off-centre plank door is situated on the right-hand block of the building. There is one red brick ridge stack and one gable end stack to the east.
