Description

Thatched Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on Bushmead Road in Staploe and Duloe. It features a timber frame with colour washed brick infill and casing, topped by a half-hipped thatched roof. The cottage has a four-room plan and is a single storey with a gable end facing the road. On the east elevation, there are four two-light horizontal sash windows, three of which are positioned to the right and include glazing bars. A plank door aligns with the central double red brick ridge stack. There is a 20th-century single-storey extension at the rear.
