Description

This cow house, located about 10 metres east of Lower Hollin Farmhouse, dates from the mid-18th century and has some alterations from the late 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a tiled roof with a dentilled brick cornice. The building is two storeys high, with a loft door on the right side. On the ground floor, there is a segmentally headed window and door on the left, and to the right, a wide entrance with a timber lintel flanked by two segmentally headed windows. This structure is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
