Description

The Davies memorial is a chest tomb located about 3 metres east of the chancel of the Church of St Peter and St Paul. It dates from 1841 and is constructed of ashlar stone. The tomb features recessed inscription panels that are flanked by panelled pilasters, with quadrant balusters at each corner. It has a ridged and hipped top, adorned with a moulded cornice. The inscription reads: "To the memory of Susanna the beloved daughter of David and Jane Davies who died October 29 1841 aged 15 years [six lines of Biblical quotations]."
