14/89 Davies Memorial - approximately 28 metres to North-west of North Porch of Church of St George

GV II

Chest tomb. Mid-C19. Sandstone ashlar. Chamfered plinth, raised panels with incised borders; an unusual corner treatment with shaped reeded balusters, a full one at the corner with an engaged quadrant one on each side; chevron-decorated frieze, and chamfered top. To Ann Davies (died 1845). An example of an unusual type peculiar to the area (cf: a number of other memorials in the churchyard).
