House and shop. 2nd half C18 frontage with some later alterations and earlier timber-framing. Red brick in Flemish bond, painted. Plain tile roof with brick dogtooth eaves and brick stacks to ridge and to right end,the latter heightened. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and cellar. 3-window range of 2 boxed 6/6 sashes under painted gauged brick flat arches and one larger 8/8 sash without arch. Incomplete 1st-floor string. Ground floor: similar 6/6 sash to centre; to right, a 3-light bay-window shopfront with plate glazing, deep mullions, and frieze and cornice which extends to left over a part-glazed panelled door with small overlight and stone steps; at left end, C20 door below overlight and C20 double plank doors to side-passage under shared hood; plinth with cellar grille under segmental arch at centre. Rear: timber-framed wing. INTERIOR: not inspected, but reported to retain timber-framing.
