Description

Masons Ryde is a former wool barn that has been converted into two houses. It dates from the mid to late 17th century and was converted in the 1970s. The building features a square-panelled timber frame with rendered infill, resting on a 20th-century brick plinth, and has a plain tile roof.

The exterior is two storeys high and has a four-window range of 20th-century multi-pane casements. There are two doorways within the timber framing, one on the left and one on the right, both with 20th-century doors. The right gable end is constructed of brick and includes segmental-arched windows with 20th-century glazing. The left gable end retains its timber framing and has a single-storey brick addition that connects it to No. 26. The interior has not been inspected.
