Description

This is a dovecote located about 50 yards north-west of Upper Court, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed from coursed dressed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and features a stone-tiled roof laid in diminishing courses, along with gable-end parapets. The building has a rectangular plan and consists of two levels, with a chamfered eaves cornice. On the south side, there is a door with a loft opening above it. Inside, the upper level contains approximately 400 nesting boxes.
