Coach house. Mid C19. Brick with stone dressings, plain clay tiled, hipped roof. Single storey and attic, moulded eaves cornice to front, dentilled eaves cornice to sides and rear. Three bays; central bay breaks forward with an implied open pediment over a large lunette in raised surround and with radiating glazing; at ground floor level is a central door with 8-pane transom light and square multi-pane windows each side; all have gauged flat heads and stone keyblocks. flanking bays both have wide, round-arched openings with stone keyblocks and imposts; the left archway is blocked; the right archway had double doors and panelled segmental infill of radiating design above. At centre of roof ridge is an open octagonal lantern on a square base. INTERIOR: Double purlin roof with king-post truss. Ground-floor retains brick floor, vertically boarded timber and wrought-iron stalls, troughs and vertical feed rack linked to the hayloft above. Formerly listed in the parish of North Claines on the 71st list for the District of Wychavon, County of Hereford & Worcester.
