Description

The Williams Memorial is a chest tomb located about 35 yards north-west of the Church of St Stephen, dating from the mid-19th century. It is made of ashlar and features a moulded base and a flat capping with a raised hipped central section. The corners have rebates with quadrant gadrooned balusters. There are shaped inscription panels with moulded borders, commemorating James Williams, who died in 1838. This memorial is prominently situated on Church Green, near the Church of St Stephen, and is included for its group value.
