Chest tomb and railed enclosure. Late C18. Ashlar and cast iron. Bold corner balusters, moulded cornice, flat top, inscription panel framed by swags of drapery. Low railings of rectangular plan, cast iron standards linked by 2 rails. South inscription: "Sacred to the Memory of Sir David Williams Baronet/ of Goldinoton in Hertfordshire and Clifford Court in Herefordshire/ [ 9 lines omitted ]/ His Soul took its flight from this vale of misery/ Jany 21st 1798 in the 32nd Year of his Age/ [ 3 more lines]". Also inscriptions on other faces. This is a good example of stone masonry and enhances the setting of the church; it contributes to the group value of the other memorials in the churchyard.
