Description

The Methodist Chapel is a non-conformist chapel built in 1827, with alterations made in the late 19th century. It is constructed of rubble and features a half-hipped slate roof. The south front has two sash windows set under semi-circular arches, with a blocked door to the left and an operational door to the right, both having segmental heads. The windows are supported by iron girders that connect to similar girders in the north wall. The interior was rearranged in the late 19th century, with a pulpit located within a raised enclosure at the west end. A datestone is centrally placed, reading "CALVINISTIC/METHODIST/CHAPEL 1827".
