Description

This building is a stable located about 10 yards west of Number 28 on Droitwich Road in Feckenham. It dates from the 18th century and features a combination of timber framing on a base of sandstone and brick, with some sections weather-boarded and others made of brick. The roof is plain tiled. The stable consists of two bays aligned east to west and has two levels.

On the south side, there is a square light and a small loft door in the brick section to the east, along with a small opening in the west bay. The north side has two loft openings and two stable doors. Inside, the framed section retains its original boarded interior. The stable is prominently positioned on the western approach to Feckenham and is part of an interesting farmyard group that includes a barn located about 30 yards north-west of Number 28. It is included in the listing for its group value, although Number 28 itself is not listed.
